Into the Woods Campout
Brand new for 2027, Into the Woods takes us to one of the most remote and beautiful corners of England.
As the leaves turn and the evenings draw in, we’re heading to Nethergill Farm, high up in the Yorkshire Dales, for a weekend of foraging, fire and autumn adventure. Stuart Woodman will lead foraging walks, talks and workshops to show you what the woods and hedgerows have to offer at this time of year. Thom from Off the Beaten Pot will be on the campfire, turning it into something special. In between, there’s sauna and river dipping, yoga and breathwork with Kay Lou, and guided walks from our host David, to spot the wildlife that calls this breathtaking valley home.
At night, Nethergill’s skies are some of the darkest in the country. If it’s clear, you’ll see stars you haven’t seen in years, with guided stargazing and astronomy talks to help you make sense of them.
Everyone’s welcome, dogs included.

Into the Woods Campout
Tucked away at the head of Langstrothdale in the Yorkshire Dales, Nethergill is a beautiful 400-acre upland farm surrounded by wild meadows, woodland, rolling hills and open moorland.
Run by the Thomas family, Nethergill is much more than a working farm. It's an inspiring conservation project where nature is being given the space to thrive, with woodland planting, peatland restoration and wildlife habitats being brought back to life across the landscape.
The farm sits alongside Oughtershaw Beck, close to the headwaters of the River Wharfe, with woodland trails, peaceful riverside spots and some incredible views across the surrounding Dales.
It's also part of the Yorkshire Dales Dark Sky Reserve, making it a wonderful place to spend an autumn evening around the fire before settling down beneath the stars. A pretty special setting for a weekend of foraging, outdoor cooking and reconnecting with nature.
