The Summit

Welcome to The Summit — a mountain-edge campout at the foot of Pen y Fan built for those who crave fresh air, open views, and a proper dose of adventure. We’ll spend the weekend in the woods and meadows of Bailea Farm, with rivers to swim, waterfalls to find, and the Black Mountains rising above camp. It’s wild, raw, and simple — just how it should be.

This is an over-18's event. Children can attend but not swim or use the Sauna. Dogs are not permitted.

The Summit

Bailea Farm sits just outside Brecon, nestled at the base of the Black Mountains. Our camp, Nant Sere, follows the course of the river through ancient woodland and open grassland, with hidden pools and secret cascades to explore. It’s a proper Welsh valley setting — rugged, beautiful, and alive with the sound of running water and birdsong.

Critical Information

This is a tent-only campout — no vehicle access to the Wild Space. Parking is around a 10-minute walk away on steady terrain. The ground is grassy with some uneven sections. A limited number of camper vans are permitted in the space.

There are no formal facilities in the Wild Space, but a toilet is available at the main farm. Fires are allowed in raised pits only. Dogs are not permitted due to grazing livestock.

A good base level of fitness is recommended — there are walks, climbs, and a few uphill sections, but the reward is some of the best views and most peaceful camping you’ll find in South Wales.
